An early morning electrical fire severely damaged a travel agency in a Westchester strip mall.
The blaze occurred at the Atlas Travel Agency in the 8900 block of south Sepulveda Boulevard about 4 a.m., said Los Angeles Fire Department spokesman Bob Collis. More than 50 firefighters worked about 20 minutes to extinguish the flames. No injuries were reported.
Firefighters believe an electrical problem with a desktop computer caused the fire. The blaze caused $75,000 in structural damage and $125,000 damage to the contents.
