A 28-year-old Ventura man was beaten to the ground and stabbed early Monday morning on a west Ventura street, police said.
Jason Todd Hayley was released from Ventura County Medical Center later Monday morning after treatment for stab wounds to the torso, a hospital spokeswoman said.
Police described Hayley as “uncooperative” and said he was unable to provide a description of his assailants or a motive for the assault.
A passerby called police to report the stabbing at the intersection of Ramona Street and North Ventura Avenue.
