Ranger to Discuss Fire’s Value to Nature

Park Ranger Mark Reeder will give a free talk Feb. 10 on the importance of fire in nature and the use of controlled burns in Southern California’s tinder-dry canyons.
Reeder’s lecture, “A Fire in the Canyon,” is part of the lecture series of the Orange County Natural History Assn.
The talk begins at 7:30 p.m. in the ballroom of the Sea County Community Center, 24062 Aliso Creek Road, Laguna Niguel.
