6 Suspects Held After Police Uncover Drug Lab

Police have booked six people for allegedly manufacturing methamphetamines at an industrial unit in the city.
Responding late Monday to a burglar alarm in the 2600 block of Pomona Boulevard, police discovered a large-scale illegal drug laboratory, officials said.
Officers detained the suspects and found a methamphetamine lab, said Pomona Police Chief Richard Shaurette.
The suspects arrested at the lab were booked for manufacturing a controlled substance and held on $500,000 bail each, police said.
Arrested were Larry Schaidt, 41, of La Puente; Madrid Monserrette, 26, of La Puente; Brian Mauldin, 44, of Valinda; Manuel Tauceda, 28, of Baldwin Park; Richard Rur, 30, of West Covina, and Laura Davis, 23, of Ontario.
