Exhibit Chronicles History of Surfing

The Heritage of San Clemente Foundation and Visitor Center recently opened an exhibit entitled “Surfing Extravaganza,” which chronicles the history of surfing, including early San Onofre and San Clemente champions.
Rare surfboards from the dawn of the surfing era also will be on display, along with an art exhibit.
The exhibit will run through Oct. 30. Other exhibits include a tribute to Col. Aaron Bank, founder of the Green Berets.
