Shuttle Fares

Airport Commissioner Patricia Schnegg believes there are too many shuttle van companies servicing L.A. International Airport. I happen to agree with her.
James E. Moore, a USC professor of urban planning and civil engineering, disagrees and claims in a July 22 letter that the biggest operators charge the highest fares. Huh? Just recently I checked fares of several shuttle operators and found that the two largest charge several dollars less to get me to LAX from my home in Encino than would a smaller shuttle service.
