Valley Secession on Homeowners’ Minds
The Cahuenga Pass Property Owners Assn. will meet Tuesday to discuss Valley secession and community identity.
Association President Florence Blecher said that a deputy of Los Angeles City Council President John Ferraro, who represents the area, will attend the meeting to hear residents’ concerns about the community sandwiched between the Hollywood Freeway and the Santa Monica Mountains.
“We plan to discuss things that affect the development of our community, such as traffic, secession and the naming of the coming MTA station,” she said.
The public meeting will begin at 7:30 p.m. at Valley View Elementary School, 6921 Woodrow Wilson Drive in the Cahuenga Pass.
Due to construction, people must enter from Oakcrest Drive.
