Children Take Trip Through Time

Members of the Boys & Girls Club of Simi Valley are spending this week traveling through the ages.
Each day, the youngsters are dressing as if they lived in a different time period during the club’s “Blast from the Past” week.
Festivities kicked off Monday with 1940s “Swing” day and a dance lesson. Club members posed as “greasers” on Tuesday and spent Wednesday twisting and shouting for “Beatles/Elvis” day.
Today, they are set to get groovy at a disco-style dance to celebrate the 1970s. And by Friday the kids will be back to the future, with a concert by a teen band called Adrenaline.
