LONDON — Some tourists seeking the burial place of Princess Diana have missed the mark by about 100 miles.
Diana is buried on the grounds of her family’s estate, Althorp House, about 70 miles northwest of London in central England.
Confused tourists have flocked instead to the village of Althorpe, about 100 miles farther north.
Diana’s family recently opened its estate to tourists who wish to get a glimpse of the island on which she is buried. The princess died Aug. 31 in a car crash in Paris.
