Boy Scout Center at Park Improper

Building a Boy Scout training center in O’Neill Regional Park (Feb. 26) is totally inappropriate.
In recent court proceedings, the leadership of the Boy Scouts of America has claimed that the Boy Scouts are a private religious organization. Would it be proper, then, to give them--or lease them at a dollar a year--4 acres of public land?
This public land belongs to all of us here in Orange County.
