Update on Repair Plan for Signature Wall Set

Community services officials will update residents Wednesday on upcoming repairs to the Rossmoor Signature Wall.
The $1-million project will provide seismic reinforcement and replace damaged sections. Some stretches of the wall along Los Alamitos and Seal Beach boulevards are so badly damaged that wooden posts must prop up the leaning bricks. Surrounding sidewalks are closed.
Residents will learn details of the voter-approved project in a special report. Members of the Rossmoor Community Services District Board of Directors also will vote on whether to approve a final plan and post advertisements seeking proposals from companies interested in doing the work.
The project could begin sometime this spring.
