Volunteers Needed to Aid the Homebound

The city’s senior center is seeking volunteers for two programs that assist homebound residents.
One program that delivers hot meals to seniors in their homes needs help at 8 or 8:30 a.m. on weekdays to prepare and serve food.
In addition, people are needed for the Telephone Reassurance Program, in which volunteers call residents for periodic check-ins and conversations.
