The American Cancer Society has received a $4,500 donation, thanks to the Placentia Linda Community Hospital Earth Week Run.
The event, which drew more than 750 participants, raised $11,142 for local charities. Other recipients included the city’s Recycling Education program, community center activities, Orange County Conservation Corps, Combined Health Appeal and local schools whose students participated in the race.
