Santa Margarita 3, Santa Barbara San Marcos 0--Anna Mosich had 57 assist to help second-seeded Santa Margarita to a 15-13, 16-14, 15-2 victory over No. 3 San Marcos (17-4). Sarah Ballog had 13 kills for the Eagles (17-4), who play Cypress in the finals.
In Division I-AA:
Capistrano Valley 3, Manhattan Beach Mira Costa 1--Kristin Gallup had 23 kills and teammate Becky Warnick had 22 to help Capistrano Valley to win, 15-8, 7-15, 15-10, 15-11. Andrea Delsigne had 69 assists for Capistrano Valley (21-1), which advances to play Newport Harbor in the final.
Newport Harbor 3, Irvine 0--April Ross had 12 kills to lead top-seeded Newport Harbor, 15-5, 15-6, 15-6. Jennifer Carey and Brenda Waterman each added eight kills for the Sailors (22-0). Fourth-seeded Irvine finishes 14-6.
In Division I-A:
Marina 3, San Clemente 0--Second-seeded Marina committed 16 service errors and fell behind in all three games, but rallied to advance to the final. Middle blocker Grace Boyd had 13 kills and Chanda McLeod had 17 for Marina (19-1), which plays top-seeded Simi Valley Royal.
Kimberly Noble had 13 kills for San Clemente (11-7).
In Division II-A:
La Habra 3, Valencia 0--Suzanne Andrade had 16 kills, leading top-seeded La Habra, 15-4, 15-6, 15-5. Keao Burdine added 11 kills and Cassi Preece had 12 digs for the Highlanders who play Lakewood St. Joseph in the finals.
Monika Jackley had 11 kills for Valencia (17-3).
In Division III-AA:
Ocean View 3, Calabasas 0--Jessica Bradosky and Andrea Droeger each had 13 kills to lead Ocean View to a 15-7, 15-3, 15-11, semifinal victory. Tracy Lindquist added 35 assists and eight digs for the Seahawks (16-2), who advance to play the Bishop Montgomery. Brooke Niles had 10 kills to lead Calabasas (20-1).
In Division III-A girls’ volleyball:
Notre Dame Academy 3, Corona del Mar 2--Dimitra Havriluk had 25 kills and Meghan Gallagher added 17 to lead Corona del Mar (9-8) in the semifinals. Keri Eichenberger 32 assists and Alyssa Rylander added 16 kills for Notre Dame Academy, which won, 15-8, 7-15, 8-15, 15-6, 15-10.
In Division IV-AA:
Calvary Chapel 3, Flintridge Sacred Heart 1--Christy Kimmel had a game-high 18 kills and Jessi Wright had 40 assists for Calvary Chapel (15-2), which won, 16-14, 9-15, 15-6, 10-15, 15-4. The Eagles play Cerritos Valley Christian.
In Division V-A:
Hemet Baptist Christian 3, Liberty Christian 0--Liberty Christian led 8-3 and 7-0 in the first and fourth games, but went on to lose, 15-11, 15-3, 0-15, 15-10, in a semifinal match. Chrissy Davis served for 14 points, including six aces, in the third game. She also had 12 kills to lead Liberty Christian (17-2).
