Verdugo Hills 21, L.A. Marshall 14--Tommy Coughlin scored the winning touchdown with 3:51 remaining on a 33-yard pass play from Jason Dupras.
Luis Callejas rushed for 110 yards in 21 carries, including a 23-yard touchdown. He also returned a kickoff 90 yards for a touchdown to help Verdugo Hills (1-3, 1-0) snap a 14-game losing streak at Marshall.
The Dons had not scored in their previous five games, dating back to last season.
