He Missed the Green With Shot at Firestone

Peter Yoon criticized Roy Firestone for omitting Paul Azinger holing out from the sand to win the 1993 PGA Championship [Hot Corner, Oct. 19]. Perhaps the reason is that Azinger did not hole out to win the 1993 PGA. Azinger did hole a sand shot to win the Memorial. Bob Tway holed out from the sand to win the PGA in 1986.
