* One wonders why these “nuts” want to do away with our government. Recently, I got a whiff of why. Having received my Social Security card in ’36 or ‘37, I needed a copy; so down to the local office. Could I find a place to park? All the entrance area spaces were reserved for employees. Can you imagine going to a restaurant and seeing all the good spaces reserved for the employees.
Then to get a card, I must fill out a full-page form, which among other things, required my mother’s maiden name (including her middle name). When I showed my military ID as well as my California driver’s license, my question was “If this identified me, why all the additional data”? I’m beginning to understand these anti-government “nuts.”
