OUTLOOK
The Eagles have a 25-game winning streak, have won consecutive Southern Section titles and, according to Hartigan, “this is our biggest, strongest and fastest team yet.” Orlando, who backed up Carson Palmer (USC) last season, was 4-0 as a starter, completing 29 of 51 attempts; he had a rating of 191.9. He threw for six touchdowns, rushed for five and caught eight. He is recovering from a broken wrist, and if it isn’t completely healed, the Eagles won’t have a proven backup. If a doctor approves, Orlando will play receiver until he’s able to be the quarterback. Wilson, a transfer from Kennedy, led the Irish to junior varsity and freshman titles. O’Gorman, (who caught five passes for 127 yards and two touchdowns in the title-game victory over Tustin, could be one of county’s best receivers.
