Summer Party

Recently, I had business in a building in the 3500 block of Wilshire. I’m from a small town about 100 miles away, so I left early and found myself with an hour to while away. Across the street in the 3400 block I saw a party going on. A gentleman named Chris was playing the steel drums and singing great tunes. A long line had formed in front of a table in the plaza where ice cream was being served, and I don’t just mean ice cream cones. One table was for the ice cream and another was for all the trimmings for fantastic, custom-made sundaes. Everyone was smiling and enjoying.
I asked a gentleman taking pictures what was going on. He said that the management of the buildings on that block just pick a day from time to time to give away ice cream and create a great time for whoever is there. Wow, I had such a nice time.
Thank you, L.A. I had such a great day!
