Murray Service Set for Sept. 26

A special public memorial for Jim Murray, Pulitzer Prize-winning Times sports columnist who died Aug. 16, will be held Saturday, Sept. 26, at 10 a.m. at Dodger Stadium.
Those wishing to attend are asked to call 1-800-LATIMES, extension 72124, so that the size of the crowd can be estimated and facilitated. Parking at Dodger Stadium will be at the Elysian Park entrance, Gate A.
A list of speakers will be announced at a date closer to the event.
