A 17-year-old Santa Ana youth was shot and killed Wednesday night in the backyard of a central Anaheim home, police said.
Thomas Jose Quintana died of a shotgun wound to the head, police said. Officers found his body about 9:15 p.m. while responding to a report of shots fired and a woman screaming in the 600 block of South Harbor Boulevard, police said.
Sgt. Joe Vargas said detectives have two acquaintances of Quintana in custody and are trying to determine what happened. He said it didn’t appear the shooting resulted from an argument or dispute between them.
