NeoTherapeutics Inc.: The Irvine developer of products to treat neurological diseases and conditions reported a fourth-quarter net loss of $3.5 million, or 59 cents a share, compared with a net loss of $2.3 million, or 42 cents a share, for the fourth quarter of 1997. For the year, the company said it lost $11.6 million, or $2.07 a share, compared with a net loss of $6.2 million, or $1.14 a share, for the prior year. No revenue was recorded.
