Memorial Planned for Muralist Tim Fields

A memorial service for artist Tim Fields will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday in the Blossom Room of the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel, 7000 Hollywood Blvd.
Fields, who died March 9, was known as the “Boulevard da Vinci” for a series of celebrity portraits he painted along Hollywood Boulevard in the 1980s. He also worked with children to create more than 50 murals around the city.
