Los Amigos of Orange County will honor the city at tonight’s council meeting for providing prompt and easy access to public information. San Juan Capistrano was one of 10 randomly selected cities to participate in Project Transparency, a study for SB48, a bill designed to strengthen the California Public Records Act. The study results will be presented today to state legislators. The council meets at 7 p.m. in chambers, 32400 Paseo Adelanto. Information: (949) 493-1171.
