Bullfrogs Lose Way in San Jose

The Bullfrogs remained in a tie for first place in the Western Conference of Roller Hockey International after losing to the San Jose Rhinos, 7-3, in front of 3,929 Sunday at the San Jose Arena.
Kevin St. Jacques scored two of his three goals in the second quarter to pull the Bullfrogs (15-3-2) within 3-2, but Anaheim went scoreless for the next 18 minutes and San Jose (11-7-3) took control.
Bullfrogs goalie Rob Laurie gave up five goals on 15 first-half shots and was replaced by Cory Cadden for the second half.
Thomas Kapusta had two goals for San Jose, which led, 7-2, after three quarters and was outshot by Anaheim, 40-25.
