The San Clemente Beach Committee met Wednesday to discuss the retaining wall recently erected on the bluff along Paseo de Cristobal. The structure was built after the city Engineering Department issued an emergency permit for the reinforcement of the bluff. The Costal Commission will hold a public hearing in September to discuss a permanent application for the structure. Information: (949) 361-8200.
