Mimi Walters was unanimously elected mayor, and Linda Lindholm was elected mayor pro tem in a 4-1 vote by the City Council on Tuesday night. Councilman Joe Brown voted against Lindholm because he said these positions must be rotated among other council members. The positions are for one-year terms.
