The city will throw a party for retiring Police Sgt. Tom Flenniken. For $20, residents are invited to his Jan. 7 bash in Community Rooms A & B of the Civic Center. Friends and co-workers will remember Flenniken’s 31 years in the Police Department while dinner is served.
