The Orange County Cities Risk Management Authority said recently that it will reimburse the city up to $1.65 million for losses caused by the rupture of a 5-million gallon water tank in September. The authority is composed of 11 Orange County cities that joined together to provide insurance for each other for losses of more than $350,000. The city has spent $2.4 million so far on the tank disaster.
