Community meetings will be held in Costa Mesa and Newport Beach next week to give the public a chance to discuss the environmental study of the 19th Street and Gisler Avenue bridges. The Orange County Transportation Authority and Costa Mesa, Newport Beach, Huntington Beach and Fountain Valley are cooperating on a study of the two bridges to see whether they can be deleted from the authority’s master plan of arterial highways.
The Newport Beach meeting will be held at 6 p.m. Tuesday at City Hall, 3300 Newport Blvd. The Costa Mesa meeting will be held at 6 p.m. Wednesday in the Neighborhood Community Center, 1845 Park Ave.
