The city’s Fourth of July celebration begins at 9 p.m. Sunday at the Dana Point Harbor, with a musical simulcast on KSBR--FM (88.5). The fireworks display is best viewed from the harbor, but other good views include Lantern Bay Park, Heritage Park and Doheny State Beach.
Free parking is available at Dana Hills High School, with free shuttle service to the harbor from noon to 11 p.m. Information: (949) 248-3580.
