The combination of high temperatures and tropical moisture contributing to Southern California’sheatwave should move out of the area today, according to National Weather Service forecasters.
1) A low-pressure trough expected to form today...
2) ... should push the high-pressure system baking the Southwest U.S.
3) ... and the monsoon conditions bringing humidity to Southern California off to the east.
