Chapman University in Orange will open a satellite campus in Irvine next month to replace its Academic Center at the now-closed El Toro Marine Corps Air Station. The university has leased 12,300 square feet in a new building at the Irvine Business Center and will set up nine classrooms, two with online connections, as well as a library and computer lab, a conference room and a break room.
In addition to the bachelor’s programs that Chapman offered at El Toro, the university will introduce master’s programs in health administration, criminal justice, human resources and organizational leadership. The university will also offer the MBA master’s program of its Argyros School of Business and Economics at the new campus, a first for the university’s satellite campus program.
