Maywood Officer Dies From Crash Injuries

A Maywood police officer died Sunday of injuries he suffered in an on-duty traffic accident 10 days earlier, authorities said.
Dan Kelley died about 7:20 a.m. at St. Francis Medical Center in Lynwood, said Maywood Police Sgt. Mark Van Holp.
The 34-year-old Kelley was riding a police motorcycle when it collided with another vehicle about 9 a.m. on July 8 near Maywood Avenue and 60th Street.
