Volunteers are needed to become tour guides at Rancho Los Alamitos Historic Ranch and Gardens. Applications are being accepted for the 10-week training program, which will occur for several hours on Saturdays from September to November. After completing training, volunteers will guide visitors and schoolchildren through the gardens, barns and adobe ranch house of Rancho Los Alamitos. Information: (562) 431-3541.
