The City Council on Monday postponed a decision addressing parking issues related to the Cottonwood Christian Center. Neighbors of the church have long complained to city officials that church workers are creating too much noise preparing parking spots in the vicinity on Sunday mornings before 7 a.m. The city staff suggested installing parking signs in the area that allow only buses to park there from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sundays and from 6 to 10 p.m. Wednesdays, when the church also is heavily used. The church has a congregation of more than 600 but parking space for about 200 vehicles.
