LEAFING LOS FELIZ
Perhaps emboldened by the $35,000 windfall that Leonardo DiCaprio and his family donated for its computer center, the spanking new Los Feliz Library is seeking other partnerships. Senior librarian Pearl Yonezawa hopes to raise $7,500 to build a “Los Feliz in Literature” collection. She’s looking for about 200 fiction and nonfiction titles that mention the place, from Griffith J. Griffith’s 1910 “Parks, Boulevards and Playgrounds” to local writer Bernard Cooper’s 1993 novel “A Year of Rhymes.” So attention, celeb Los Feliz denizens, you, too, can be the library’s next Carnegie. May we suggest the Brad Pitt After-School Study Center?
