Circus Vargas is coming to town today through Wednesday. The circus received a City Council permit for its event on 13th Street near the Civic Center. Organizers of the one-ring circus expect 1,500 people per two-hour show.

The performances will include aerial acts, jugglers, clowns and a petting zoo. Monday’s show starts at 7:30 p.m.; there will be two performances on Tuesday and Wednesday, at 5 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.
