Lanes to Be Closed During Road Work

Caltrans workers on Monday will begin repaving a 1.5-mile stretch of Oxnard Boulevard, from Gonzales Road to the Ventura Freeway, officials said.
The road work will force the closure of two northbound lanes on Oxnard Boulevard between Gonzales and Orchard Place from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. Mondays through Fridays.
After that work is finished, the southbound lanes will be closed during the same hours and days for repaving.
Officials hope to complete the entire $290,000 project in July.
