The City Council will hold a public hearing tonight on a proposal for the city to acquire 1,026 square feet of property at 1055 and 1057 W. Ball Road for various street improvements.
The proposal to seize the property through the city’s power of eminent domain is just one facet of the Ball Road and West Street Improvement Project and the Anaheim Resort Area Improvement and Beautification Program. Public Works officials plan to widen Ball Road and West Street as well as install underground utilities and improve landscaping and storm drainage. The council meets at 5 p.m. in chambers, 200 S. Anaheim Blvd.
