The City Council has approved an addition to the municipal code requiring a minimum number of trash containers at apartment complexes and other multifamily dwellings. Because there was previously no minimum, the city experienced many cases of overfilled containers. City officials will have the power to determine the minimum number required on a case-by-case basis.
