The Vietnamese-American Chamber of Commerce is holding a grand opening of its offices at 9121 Bolsa Ave., No. 201, on Thursday. The event starts at 5:30 p.m. in the Cathay Bank building. Admission for nonmembers is $5. RSVP to the chamber at its new telephone number, (714) 892-6928. Besides the new offices and telephone number, the chamber also recently added the word “American” to its name as a symbol of its effort to reach out more to the mainstream business community.
