I-Flow Gets FDA Approval for Catheter

Lake Forest-based I-Flow Corp. said it has received permission from the Food and Drug Administration to market a new catheter to help manage pain in large surgical incisions.
The company, which makes ambulatory infusion systems, said the new soaker catheter delivers local anesthesia directly across long incisions for such surgeries as hysterectomies, C-sections and open-heart procedures.
I-Flow’s shares closed Monday at $4.25, up 3 cents, on the Nasdaq Small Capitalization
