First American Financial Corp. said its title insurance subsidiary acquired Barton County Abstract & Title Co. in Kansas. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Barton County Abstract, which owns a title plant containing records dating back to 1872, has had an underwriting relationship with First American’s unit since 1987, First American said.
