Fountain Valley (5-3, 2-1) vs. No. 4 Edison (6-2, 1-2)
7 TONIGHT ORANGE COAST COLLEGE
Edison needs a victory in “The Battle for the Bell” to keep its playoff hopes afloat. Fountain Valley is still entertaining the idea of a league title. The Barons have won the last three meetings, including last year’s 19-17 victory. Running backs Steven Fifita and Nedal Abdelmuti are questionable, because of injuries, for the second consecutive week. Each played last week and helped Fountain Valley upset then top-ranked and undefeated Los Alamitos, 34-27. Edison, after dropping consecutive games to open league play, got back on track with a 41-34 victory over Esperanza last week.
