San Fernando 27, Monroe 14--The Tigers remained undefeated as Thomas Hoohuli threw for 172 yards and two touchdowns at San Fernando.

Hoohuli completed 13 of 18 passes, including touchdowns of 12 and seven yards to Gerardo Rubi.

Rubi had nine catches for 115 yards.

Tyrone Burwell had 105 yards in 20 carries for the Vikings (5-4, 0-4).

San Fernando (9-0, 4-0) trailed in the second quarter, 14-7, when Frank Nolasco rushed for 18 yards on a fumblerooski to put the ball at the Monroe 12.

Hoohuli connected with Rubi for a 12-yard touchdown pass on fourth and five.

In the fourth quarter, with Monroe ahead, 14-13, Nolasco intercepted Steve Beltran’s pass at the Vikings’ 20.

Six plays later, Hoohuli connected with Rubi for a seven-yard touchdown pass to put the Tigers ahead, 19-14.
