The Costa Mesa engineering, consulting and technical services firm reported third-quarter net income of $813,000, or 16 cents a share, 79% higher than the $455,000, or 12 cents a share, recorded for the 1998 third quarter. Revenue increased 35% to $10.7 million. The company said its acquisition of Thompson-Hysell on July 15 contributed $2.3 million to third-quarter revenue.
