Nana braves a chickenpox scare to save Thanksgiving.

Kindergarten to first grade: “Thanksgiving With Me,” by Margaret Willey, illustrated by Lloyd Bloom
A mother tells her daughter about her family, which is coming to visit.

Second grade: “The Can-Do Thanksgiving,” by Marion Hess Pomeranc, illustrated by Nancy Cote
Follow the fate of a can of peas that is brought to a school food drive.

Third grade: “The Thanksgiving Beast Feast,” by Karen Gray Ruelle
Harry and Emily make a feast for the birds and squirrels.
