Impatience, urgency; what is it that compels car drivers to speed up when approaching intersections? Do they have radar? Why do they go through after the yellow light has gone off? Do they think they have the right to beat the cars starting forward with the green lights? We live in a fast world. Most drivers can’t get there fast enough.
