Capistrano Man Held in Slaying

A San Juan Capistrano man has been arrested in connection with the Sept. 24 death of a Mission Viejo youth in a vehicle-to-vehicle shooting, officials said Thursday.
Alejandro Rosales, 22, was being held in the Orange County Jail in connection with the death of Jesus Ruiz Villalobos, 18, said Tom Garner, a spokesman for the Orange County Sheriff’s Department.
Investigators said a gunman in a black pickup shot at the car in which Villalobos was riding.
A 17-year-old boy in the car suffered a graze wound to one arm. The driver, who was not hurt, took Villalobos to San Clemente Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The incident appeared to be gang-related, police said.
